CJROTC Brochure[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]As you consider an Elective for your child (8th through 12th grade), I would like to suggest taking advantage of a program that very few private schools include in their curriculum. UFCA offers a Christian Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (CJROTC) program.

For the 2020 -2021 academic year, we are looking to recruit 8 to 12 of the “best of the best” students that UFCA has to offer. We will take the best and make them better! CJROTC offers so many opportunities for young people (including scholarships for deserving Cadets). Our Cadets will learn discipline, teamwork, and thinking outside of the box.

Providing we have the support of parents and students, we are looking to have two distinct squads this coming year. I want UFCA to form a Drill Team and a Rifle Team that could both compete at local, regional, and national levels.

Additionally, I hope to have a quarterly weekend camping excursion to teach basic survival and tracking techniques. Our Regimental Officers also schedule two “Mud Runs” for the school year, as well as one “Motto Run.” CJROTC also encourages parents to participate in our simplified “Boot Camp,” which involves drilling with your Cadet, running our Obstacle Course and performing the Fireman’s Carry. You will also learn some basic self defense and participate in our Firearm safety course (you can even show off your rifle skills on our shooting range using our .22 cal pellet rifles!). This can be a life-changing experience for your child and your family.

Watch your child evolve into a confident young man or woman. Have them sign up for CJROTC today! Every class starts with a prayer and ends with a more informed Cadet. CJROTC prepares students for life after graduation and stresses good citizenship. Our Cadets learn communication and other life skills. We teach students to become LEADERS (in military and civilian life). If the military is an option, your young man or woman will enter the military at a rank higher than other individuals. If you have any questions, or would just like to know me, please give me a call.

Why choose CJROTC?

[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Set yourself apart. UFCA is the only private school in Charlotte to offer CJROTC.  Students learn to serve others and honor their Christian faith.  A common theme through the curriculum is putting others before yourself.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Most CJROTC students do not join the military.  However, scholarships and grants can be awarded.  The life skills gained in CJROTC are designed to develop qualities necessary to thrive in any career.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]CJROTC combines interesting classroom instructions with opportunities to serve the school and community.  Students participate in extracurricular activities, enjoy social events, and can earn leadership positions.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
