Home School Partner Program
United Faith Christian Academy is committed to impact the world for Christ by developing and educating hearts, souls, minds, and bodies through the passionate teaching of a Christ-centered curriculum in a Christ-centered environment. As an accredited college-prep school, we are pleased to offer academic, enrichment, spiritual, and social support to families who homeschool their children .
To participate in the Home School Partner Program, students are expected to meet the admissions standards (academically, spiritually, and socially) of all applicants, complete an application, and follow the standard admissions process including:
- Online Application & Application Fee of $150/student
- Entrance Exam of $150/student (unless similar recent testing is provided)
- Minimum of 3 years of Academic Records & Standardized Testing
- Minimum of 2 Teacher/Administrator Recommendations
- Shadow Visit at UFCA (if available)
- Read & Acknowledge Parent/Student Handbook
UFCA offers a robust variety of academic and enrichment classes one would expect in an accredited college-preparatory school. UFCA is dual accredited by ACTS and Cognia. Home school partner students are invited to participate in classes during the school day along with our existing student body.
High School Enrichment Classes when available:
- Visual Art I-IV
- AP Studio Art
- Theatre
- Culinary
- Music Fusion
- Yearbook
- Foreign Language (Spanish I-IV or Mandarin Chinese I-IV)
- JROTC for Christian Schools (ARMY)
- HS Fitness
Please note that placement tests, tryouts, or auditions may be part of the selection process.
Once accepted, high school students in grades 9-12 may choose to participate in one of the following pathways:
ACADEMIC & ENRICHMENT PARTNER
An Academic & Enrichment Partner may take a maximum of 3 year-long classes per school year. Academic classes are year-long. Our school year is August - May.
The majority of fine arts classes are offered as single semester courses (2 semester courses count as 1 year-long class). At the student’s discretion and based on the availability of space in the class, they may choose a Fine Arts class. HS Theatre is semester based and only offered in the Fall. If participation space is limited, please note that priority consideration will be given to full-time UFCA students.
Tuition & Fees: $2,000 per year-long class & $1,000 per semester class
New Family Fee: Waived
Comprehensive Fee: Waived
Study Hall Fee (if applicable): $200/student

ACADEMIC & ATHLETICS PARTNER
An Academic & Athletics Partner must take a minimum of 4 classes per school year to be identified as a full-time student per our conference. The 4 classes must include core classes; the only Enrichment classes available to an Academic & Athletics Partner are Fine Arts, Foreign Language & CJROTC. Fitness is not available for Athletic Partners.
UFCA refers to these students as Non-Matriculated Full-Time Students. These students take accredited courses at UFCA for credit to add to their homeschool high school transcript. Non-Matriculated Full-Time students are not graduates of UFCA.
Academic classes are year-long. Our school year is August - May.
JV & Varsity Athletics, as offered per school year, are available to Non-Matriculated full-time students who take at least 4 year-long academic and/or enrichment classes.
The following JV & Varsity sports when available are currently offered for students in grades 7-12:
- Basketball (Boys & Girls)
- Soccer (Boys & Girls)
- Cross Country (Co-ed)
- Track (Co-ed)
- Volleyball (Girls)
- Swim (Co-ed)
- Golf (Boys)
- Baseball (Boys
Tuition & Fees: $2,000 per year-long class & $1,000 per semester class
New Family Fee: $500 per family
Comprehensive Fee: $500 per student
Study Hall Fee (if applicable):: $200/student
Athletic Participation Fee: $150/student per sport, per season $300 max per child

As Non-Matriculated Full-Time Students, students have the opportunity for greater social, emotional, and spiritual growth at UFCA. The integrity of our mission and the academic, spiritual and social development of our student body is of utmost importance at UFCA. Therefore, all Full-Time Students are required to participate in:
- Retreat (annually in the Fall)
- Thursday Chapel and Advisory
- Be the Blessing (In-house Mentoring Program)
- “UFCA Serves” and other grade level service opportunities
Non-Matriculated Full-Time Students are not permitted to re-class at UFCA once they have enrolled.
Non-Matriculated Full-Time Students are permitted to change status and enroll as Matriculated Full-Time Students of UFCA with approval from the Office of Admissions and Head of School.
UFCA Falcon Athletic Organization is a member of the South Piedmont Athletic Association (SPAA) and North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA) Division 1A and therefore competes for conference and state championships in multiple sports. We welcome participation of high school Non-Matriculated Full-Time Students on our JV & Varsity teams.
UFCA does not offer an athletics-only option for Academic & Enrichment Partner students. All Admissions and Participation Fees are due prior to participation in any campus activity.
